I make vessels which are a response to my love of clay and the beauty of Nature. My method of construction is complex, resulting in forms that have a smooth sensuous interior in contrast with the slashed, voluptuous form of the exterior. The layered glazes used are the results of extensive personal experimentation, blending a tactile quality to the work and inviting the viewer to caress the surface.
