Doodle Art & Design Workshops with Ashima Kumar

Ashima Kumar is an artist, coach and trainer, who uses doodle art as a tool for mindfulness and to relieve stress.

The Doodle Art & Design sessions were born out of deep personal exploration and research into doodle art. Over the years, Ashima has developed a unique personal style that fuses doodle art with traditional and digital media. She utilises elements from this style to impart tools for well-being.

The sessions combine simple art forms, repetitive patterns and detailed instructions to help attendees discover unconscious thoughts, improve focus and enhance cognition. In the process the participants experiences reduced levels of stress. The tools provided are meditative and expressive in nature and lead to an overall sense of well-being and accomplishment.

The sessions / workshops are designed for both children and adults.

Watercolour Classes with Harinder Sahota

Watercolour is a translucent fluid medium that gives you wonderful results!

In this class your creativity will evolve as you learn how to develop your ability using the simplicity,
flow and colour of this amazing medium! By painting subject matters such as the figure,
portraiture, still life and landscape, you will lift the lid off your creative interior and give yourself
‘room to breathe’!

This class is suitable for beginners, as well as those with more experience who are looking to improve their skills.

Classes are held every Tuesday 1-3pm, Tuesday evening 7.30-9.30pm and Wednesday 10am-12pm/12.30-2.30pm at Harrow Arts Centre.

Christine Spring runs adult art classes aimed at all abilities where she will inspire you with a wide selection of subjects. She covers a range of media including acrylics, oils paint, watercolours.

Ickenham, St Giles’ Church Hall on a Monday Evening 7.30pm till 9.30pm.
