Jonathan Hutchins

Jonathan Has selected his best Life Studies and Drawings depictions of the human form from over 20 years of attending Cheryl Gould’s life classes at the Harrow Art Centre ; his influences are the great modernist artists in that tradition, especially Degas ,Bonnard, Matisse ,Francis Bacon and Lucien Freud.

In addition, he is showing this year works that are concerned with the suffering in our modern world cause by war and political turmoil ; focusing particular of innocent women and children who are most often the victims of such conflicts and made to flee as a consequence.
