Medium: Acrylics and Gold Leaf on paper
Dimensions: 40.5cm high x 30.5cm wide
This piece is from a series of Tree of Life paintings I have made, inspired from a family tree gifted to me for my birthday a couple of years ago. The tree of life is a symbol of personal growth, strength and beauty. This piece has been made on acrylic paper using gold leaf and acrylic paint.
My art is a vibrant array of colour and texture. I prominently work with acrylics and gold leaf to create striking pieces. Inspiration comes from my Indian heritage and also from shapes and patterns I observe around me.
I create texture from a variety of materials from structure gels, modelling paste to plaster and PVA glue. By manipulating these materials using brushes, palette knives and spoons I work the texture to create eye-catching artwork that is unique and truly something remarkable.
My passion is to make timeless pieces that are captivating.
