Sheenum Sibal

Sheenum is a mixed media artist based in London. She is self-taught, and has been on this creative & experimental journey for the last 20 years.
Sheenum draws inspiration from her Indian heritage, and her style embodies a blend of traditional and contemporary. She has refined her skills over the years through various workshops, and through exploring different art forms and materials to give her pieces more dimension and personality. For her, creativity is a journey without any preconceived ideas or set rules, which she says often results in the best pieces.

She uses a mix of acrylic paint, paper, textiles and threads to create depth and visual layering in her paintings. She also hand paints furniture, wooden boxes and panels to create wall art.
She always likes to have a project in hand and loves to try the untested.
